One installation brief. Your choice of lift.
A villa lift, a passenger elevator for an apartment building and a panoramic glass lift each start with different priorities. Tell us who will use the equipment, the floors it will serve and the architectural result you want. For an existing building, the available space and associated building works need review before a system is selected.
- Home and villa lifts for new or existing properties
- Passenger lifts for residential and commercial buildings
- Panoramic elevators and glass lift projects
- Cabin decoration panels, operating panels, ceilings, handrails, flooring and landing-door finishes
Lift installation across all brands.
We work with all lift brands, including OTIS, Mitsubishi Electric, KONE, Schindler, TK Elevator, Hyundai Elevator, Hitachi, Fujitec, Toshiba, Orona, KLEEMANN, Cibes, Aritco, Savaria and Chinese lift brands. Share the specified manufacturer and model, or ask us to review your requirements before selecting equipment. Equipment supply, installation access, technical documentation and suitability are confirmed for each project.
An independent installation partner.
Elevaya is an independent service provider. Manufacturer names identify the equipment discussed; they do not imply dealership, manufacturer authorization, affiliation or endorsement. We confirm the proposed responsibilities and any manufacturer-specific restrictions before accepting a scope.
Bring the project into focus.
Share the building use, location, project stage and latest drawings. State whether a lift has already been specified or whether options still need to be assessed.
- Scope and project priorities
- Drawings with revision references
- Builder and consultant responsibilities
- Desired programme, subject to confirmation
Clarify the interfaces.
Lift work interacts with the building and other contractors. The proposal should identify included work, exclusions, site prerequisites and the party responsible for each interface. A project-specific scope prevents assumptions being carried into construction.
Agree what completion means.
Include the required records, operating information and handover arrangements in the discussion. Inspection and authority coordination depend on the project and the applicable requirements; no approval outcome is guaranteed by this page.
New building or existing property: two different briefs.
For a new building, bring the latest architectural and consultant information before the lift layout is fixed. For an existing villa, apartment block or commercial building, explain current use, available access and the floors you want to connect. The existing structure and proposed alterations require appropriate review; a space that looks suitable in a photograph is not a confirmed lift location.
- New build: current drawings, design responsibilities and project stage
- Existing property: current layout, access constraints and occupied areas
- Replacement: existing equipment records and what is proposed for retention
Site readiness, assembly and contractor responsibilities.
The lift package needs a written interface schedule so tasks do not fall between contractors. Discuss who provides and verifies the building works, electrical provisions, delivery access and work areas. Do not order or alter structural openings from generic online dimensions. Final equipment and builder requirements must be coordinated for the surveyed site.
- Equipment supply and delivery arrangements
- Builder works and architectural finishing responsibilities
- Power and other agreed building-service interfaces
- Access, storage and assembly arrangements
- Testing, inspection coordination and handover responsibilities
From survey to an agreed installation scope.
An initial brief helps prepare the site survey; it is not a quotation. After the technical review, the proposal should distinguish supplied equipment, installation labour, related works, exclusions and the information still needed. Agree how drawing revisions and requested changes will be recorded. A finish change or revised entrance arrangement may affect more than the visible cabin design.
Compare the handover package as well as the equipment.
Before accepting a proposal, ask what equipment identification, operating information, maintenance instructions and agreed test or inspection records will be handed over. Clarify who receives them and when aftercare begins. Warranty terms, spare-parts arrangements and the maintenance contract are separate points to confirm; none should be assumed solely from the equipment brand.
Compare system labels only after defining the building.
Searches for hydraulic lifts, traction elevators, machine-room-less lifts, capsule lifts and glass elevators describe possible directions, not a finished specification. The building use, travel, entrances, available space, structure, power, equipment access and maintenance plan must be reviewed together. A machine-room-less label does not remove equipment-access or building-interface requirements, and a glass or capsule appearance does not identify the drive system.
- Home or villa lift for an existing or new property
- Passenger lift for residential or commercial duty
- Hydraulic, traction or MRL system to be assessed
- Panoramic, glass or capsule-style architectural intent
- Freight, bed, car, platform or other specialist duty
Authority coordination is a project responsibility, not a marketing badge.
Municipality, Civil Defence, consultant, building-management and other requirements depend on the project, equipment and location. Elevaya can coordinate relevant submissions, inspections and closeout steps where they are included in the accepted scope. We do not describe ourselves online as “municipality approved” or “Civil Defence approved” without a specific current credential that supports that exact statement, and no contractor can guarantee an authority decision.
Lift assembly and installation in the UAE.
A complete installation conversation separates equipment supply, assembly, installation labour, builder works, electrical interfaces, testing and handover. The exact division depends on the selected system and the surveyed site. Share the latest drawings, floor count, building use and consultant requirements. Elevaya then records inclusions, exclusions and responsibilities so a lift installation cost comparison is based on equivalent work rather than an unexplained total.
Questions, answered.
Can a completion date be promised before reviewing the project?
A realistic programme depends on the selected equipment, supply arrangements, site readiness and agreed responsibilities. Confirm these before relying on a date.
Does a lift quotation automatically include building works?
Do not assume so. Require the quotation to state included work, exclusions and responsibilities explicitly.
Can you install a lift in a building that is already occupied?
We assess installation and replacement enquiries for occupied properties. Feasibility and the work programme depend on the site, building interfaces, equipment delivery and arrangements for occupants. These are reviewed before confirming the scope.
What should I send before an installation survey?
Send the Emirate and site location, building use, floors to connect, current drawings if available, project stage and the contact who can arrange access. For an existing lift, include available equipment records. Do not enter restricted areas to collect information.
Are assembly, civil works and approvals included in one price?
Only the written quotation establishes what is included. Ask for equipment assembly and installation, civil works, electrical work, inspection coordination and other responsibilities to be separated. The quotation is issued after the site survey; no approval outcome is promised online.
How much does passenger lift installation cost in Dubai?
There is no responsible standard online figure. Travel, capacity, entrances, system, builder works, power, finishes, delivery, authority coordination and service scope affect the proposal. Elevaya issues a quotation after the technical survey and review of project information.
Do you install machine-room-less lifts in Dubai?
MRL and traction-lift requirements can be assessed for residential and commercial projects. Suitability, equipment access, building interfaces and the proposed model must be confirmed before acceptance.
What is included in a lift installation quotation?
The written quotation should identify the equipment, assembly and installation work, interfaces, documentation, exclusions, site prerequisites and responsible parties. Elevaya issues project quotations after a technical site survey; building works or authority fees should not be assumed unless stated.
Equipment suitability, service availability and site-specific requirements must be confirmed for each project.
