Understand what “hydraulic” describes.
Hydraulic refers to the lift drive arrangement, not one cabin style or universal building solution. Product configurations vary. The equipment proposal must identify the selected model, intended duty and interfaces; a search term or competitor picture is not a specification.
Assess travel, use and available space together.
State the floors, entrances, expected users, operating pattern and available area. Review the proposed shaft, pit, overhead, equipment location and access with current drawings and a site survey. Do not reserve or alter structural space from generic dimensions.
Plan environmental and building interfaces.
The project team should review temperature, ventilation, water exposure, drainage, acoustic expectations, power and access for maintenance. Applicable fire, accessibility and authority requirements belong in the coordinated design. Elevaya can coordinate municipality or authority steps included in its scope, but approval is not guaranteed online.
Compare hydraulic and traction/MRL for the real project.
The useful comparison is not “which technology is best?” but which assessed equipment fits the building, duty, travel, interfaces, service strategy and budget. Ask providers to state assumptions using the same brief. A different system may be appropriate if the project conditions change.
Maintenance and modernization are equipment-specific.
For an existing hydraulic lift, share the manufacturer, model, records, current condition and reported observations. A service survey checks technical access, accepted equipment and parts strategy. Elevaya supports all brands independently and can use OEM parts where specified and available; no manufacturer affiliation is implied.
Prepare a technical survey pack.
Send the Emirate and exact site, building use, project stage, floors or travel, entrances, intended users or goods and the site contact. For existing equipment, add the manufacturer, model or asset number, current maintenance arrangement, available manuals and service reports, and a factual description of observed issues. Photographs and drawings help the team prepare, but they do not confirm dimensions, condition or suitability. Do not enter shafts, pits, machine areas or restricted equipment to collect information.
- Location, building use and responsible contact
- New project, existing equipment or replacement
- Drawings, asset details and records available
- Access, occupancy and shutdown constraints
- The outcome you need from the survey
Follow the project from decision to handover.
After the survey, the proposal should define accepted equipment, responsibilities, assumptions, exclusions, programme dependencies and the route for changes. Before work begins, confirm access, building interfaces, authority or consultant coordination and who approves additional work. At handover, retain equipment identity, agreed test or inspection records, operating information, warranty terms and maintenance arrangements. Elevaya does not offer an instant online price because these facts materially change the safe and commercial scope.
Fix scope, warranty and support in the proposal.
The quotation should separate equipment, installation, builder and electrical works, authority coordination, testing, handover, warranty and AMC. Elevaya provides 24/7 service support and written warranty coverage, with attendance terms and warranty duration defined in the accepted contract. Pricing follows the technical survey.
Questions, answered.
Is a hydraulic lift suitable for every villa?
No. Suitability depends on travel, space, structure, use, environment, equipment configuration and project requirements.
Does a hydraulic lift need a machine room?
Configurations differ. The selected manufacturer and model determine equipment-space requirements, which must be coordinated for the project.
Can you maintain any hydraulic lift brand?
Elevaya reviews multi-brand equipment as an independent provider. Acceptance depends on technical access, condition, documentation and suitable parts.
How much is a hydraulic lift?
There is no responsible universal price. Building interfaces, selected equipment, entrances, finishes, installation and approvals must be surveyed first.
Equipment suitability, service availability and site-specific requirements must be confirmed for each project.
